Dear President
It has become very evident this last week where my flaws lie and the beautiful miracles that God has done even with one who has such flaws. How great God is that he can use an imperfect tool as myself to work much mircales. Me hace sonrir!

This week I have continued to study the divinity of the Book of Mormon. Some of the thoughts that have come to my mind have been

1. Is this really the word of God
2. Am I just convincing myself that this is true
3. What must I do to receive an answer

We were able to find 16 new investigators this week which ties the amount that God found with Elders Adams and myself in October. I was able to share my testimony of the Book of Mormon and the reality of the appearance of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. After sharing the first vision and introducing the Book of Mormon whether at the door step or in the homes of my new friends we were able to share verses from the Book of Mormon. One of my favorites is one that we shared with a man named Juan last night at his dinner table

2 nephi 33:10-11
hearken unto these words and believe in Christ; and if ye believe not in these words believe in Christ. And if ye shall believe in Christ ye will believe in these words, for they are the words of Christ, and he hath given them unto me; and they teach all men that they should do good.

11 And if they are not the words of Christ, judge ye—for Christ will show unto you, with power and great glory, that they are his words, at the last day; and you and I shall stand face to face before his bar; and ye shall know that I have been commanded of him to write these things, notwithstanding my weakness.

A day before my great grandfather Weaver  died he told me to "do good" those were the only words he was able to share as his mind slowly went to the other side. The holy spirit has lovingly but boldly told spoken to me according to my own understanding and has said," look me in the eyes and tell me that this is a lie." The light I have felt and the understanding I have gained this week as I have studied the last part of 1st Nephi, the beginning of 2nd Nephi, and conference talks that my father has given me of the Book of Mormon has assured me that as I give my heart to the Lord he will allow me to go fearlessly to the aide of others knowing perfectly well that my Savior and his angels will "bear me up."

David and Prescilla

Prescilla is now reading the Book of Mormon. She came to church and will be baptized on the 17th of March. This is funny enough the anniversary of when they first met. David said, "I feel the war is over." They came to Church and everyone is rallying around Prescilla.

Sergio and Mariah
They came to church for the 8th time yesterday. How beautiful it was on my last sunday to see 2 new families that God has brought into his fold using an imperfect tool as myself. I can't wait to see what he will do with me in the future as I continue to give my heart to him! Mariah and sergio had a drink of wine the other day and this led Sergio to go on a drinking spree for 4 days. We had a great lesson with our great friends Bro. and Sis. Simmons at Sergio's house and he was able to understand the power of family prayer in the fight against temptation. They will be married this weekend!!! The devil has gained a little ground on Sergio's ability to withstand temptation but with the ward's support and the great lesson we will have tonight everything will be grand!

Ruby and her kids-did not come to church but we will have lesson tonight with them

Seferina Padilla-we finally found her again last night we are so excited to help her come back. She has been feeling depressed because she is struggling finding a job.
We found 2 older hispanic couples who will be reading the Book of Mormon together this coming week(jorge+marta, Ronolfo+Dora)

We had a marvelous lesson with a very faith filled less active member this last week. She is struggling with many health challenges but she is very excited to come back-Hma cenizeros
We also found a young couple who's little boy recently had very severe health troubles. It was amazing to find them and help them understand there is a way to find more peace(sylvia+jerardo)

Elder Rodriguez has been an amazing companion. I have loved his humility and love for the people. I am so grateful he came back after getting sick in mexico and going back home so that he could be my companion.

President. I will repent. I have done so much better with my driving after I received the call from Elder Pendleburry. That is unaccpetable and even though I want to get to appointments as fast as we can it is not worth our lives. How can we help anyone if we're dead. This event has helped me understand that I'm very impatient and I don't know how to pace myself and for this same reason I have hurt myself(my knee and now my elbow). God has helped me know where I can focus on to see the most growth-patience:)

Love,
Elder Rigby
