Grandpa Rigby-Thank you for your great note and the money. It was the answer to a prayer. I hope you are feeling better!

Dear President
I want to thank you for your kind letter as well as trusting me enough to switch Elder Lowry to designated driver. I can already feel that this is helping him feel more involved in the work and that is fantastic!

District
We saw a tremendous outpouring of success as God guided us during our district meeting. After a discussion of what baptism really means as well as invitations and roll plays we set goals as a district to plans to...
1. plan during daily planning when we will invite to baptism throughout the day
2. put more effort into study about baptism and preparing for invites during personal and comp. study.
3. texting the district group message when we invite to baptism.
It has been fun to see all of the district getting excited and working towards helping as many as God children as possible take the first steps to finding the joy of partaking in the process of second chances.

Elders Gutierrez and Bergman
These elders are working very hard and Elder Bergman has brought a lot of energy to this area. They are working with a great investigator who has an ondate. His name is Hermidio.
Elder Bergman is doing great with his more in depth personal study and Elder Gutierrez is doing great with his "small plates"
Elders Debry and Davis
These Elders are doing a fantastic job at pumping our zone and supporting more as a district leader. They were able to get 3 on dates through the last couple weeks and their ondate Manuela is taking great steps!
Hermanas Hurst and Robinson
They are doing fantastic with their goals and were finally able to help Emilio come to church. It was great! they were also able to get 2 men come to church that have never come before!
Hermanas Finch and Brammer
Good news: They were able to get a new investigator to church last week! Everynight before they go to bed they take a little bit to talk about how much they love each other.
Good new/not so good: The sanchez family of 3 decided to push their date of baptism back. It was a very great lesson. The sad news is that their investigator that was going to get baptized this coming week named Rene is not doing so well. The Hermanas reviewed his progress and helped him understand that he has to be obeying the word of wisdom for 2 weeks before baptsim. He got frustrated and refused to setting another date. We are praying for the hermanas as well as Rene.

Our area

Jorge and Enos Garcia
The Garcias have an amazing family and it has been incredible getting to know them. In spite of Enos having great health struggles her greatest desire is to be there for her youngest son Andy. We helped her this week understand the importance of a restoration and invited her and mainly her husband to read from the Book of Mormon. We need to keep him reading. Jorge's main desire is to be knowledgeable about the Bible. He hasn't gotten the full picture yet but he said when he knows these things are true he will be baptized on the 24th of June. He's so cool we need to get him a friend in the church and then we got him

Marisela
She is a single Mom that we found this last week. We went and visited her with President Moreno. Her husband left her with their 1 yr old boy. She is lonely and scared. She had questions about what we believed in because her husband that left is a member. It was a great spiritual experience where we were able to help her understand that as she expresses her faith she can be healed. We will be meeting with her on Wednesday.

Juan Gonsalez
Juan came with us to a family home evening at the Soto's home. it went very well. he knows he needs to be baptized but still feels hesitant. He is mature beyond his years. Hermano soto kept sharing his testimony directly to him. I thought it would overwhelm him but instead it his heart. We believe that concern may be that if he is baptized he will then serve a mission and miss out on other things

La familia Estrada (La)
The rumor is that Hermana estrada told her husband that if he didn't come to church that she would divorce him. They both came to church yesterday. We then wen to their home later that night with some other members. We had a great discussion where we built a relationship of trust. they described their desires to go to the temple and their fears that if they do it that they will sin and suffer condemnation. It appears that the recently baptized husband is the one who is holding them back. we will be having weekly family homes with them.

Jose and Eliana
Eliana is the daughter of la familia nava and Jose is her husband. they love each other so much. we shared with them the restoration and they have a great desire to be baptized. They are going to california for 2 weeks. It's a bummer but it's just a matter of time.

Edenia
our great friend edenia went to California. We want to keep her progressing but she is not getting back to us.

Martolo
We went by our former friend Martolo this last week. He has a strong Catholic belief but wants to learn and is willing to act according with what God tells him to do. He is handicapped and can hardly walk but has great potential.

Hermana Bautista
Hermana bautista has always been great in supporting the missionaries. this last week we went and mowed her lawn with our friend Hermano soto for 3 hours-HUGE LAWN.

Yesenia
Yesenia is still showing great desires to learn more. this last week yesenia shared with us an experience where she searched prayer on the gospel library app and found some great scriptures of the Book of Mormon. She then prayed and found strength to get through her night shift.
We are still struggling to get a church tour with her and helping her meet other members because of her social anxiety and hard night work schedule but our comp goal involves receiving more revelation as a companionship through prayer. This will help us.

Elder Lowry
Thoroughly impressed. He is making tremendous strides. Not only is he being obedient but he has found the joy from being obedient. I can see it in his eyes! He has also informed me he has lost 5 pounds this week. Couple that with the constant tesimony he shares, his great attitude, and his fearlessness to invite to baptism, He is doing incredible. As you may be aware his grandfather had a stroke this last week and went blind in his right eye. His father sent him a facebook message informing him of the sitiuation this last week but he stayed strong.

Myself

I am continuing forward with great hope and faith. Part of my week consisted of studying my Patirarchal blessing to follow the "my plan" curriculum for life after the mission. I was impressed by the emphasis on being lead and recei

ving inspiration. I connected this with God's emphasis on my mission to help me be meek(submissive to his will). I'm pushing towards following this counsel and receive heavens guidance for the many people God has placed in my path.
