Elder Rigby's Adventures

Hi everyone! So very excited for an apostle to come to our own mission how incredible. It's blowing my mind. I want to talk about the triumphs of this week! We found 2 very solid new investigators Rosy works at best western single mom 3 kids under 10 recently gone through a divorce she is wondering where God is she truly wants to find him We found her after one of our appointments had fallen through and were walking to a backup potential in the same apartment complex. We set up an appointment and went back  2 days later . She was near breaking. After we got to know her a little bit more and understood her religious background and testified God lives and she is his daughter I asked her do you honestly believe that God loves you and is there for you? She then said, "where is God," as tears streamed up in her eyes. We helped her understand that through Christ all our burdens and sorrows can be washed away as we live his gospel. She accepted to prepare to be baptized on 

Hello Everyone! Mission Exchanges My testimony: Our Heavenly Father Loves us. We lived with him before this life. We are literally his children. I know this because of the scriptures and also because I've asked him myself. God, our heavenly father, wants us to become stronger and better so he sent us to Earth. We all make mistakes and sin so Heavenly Father sent a Savior, Jesus Christ who paid for our sins and if we follow his teachings, The gospel of Jesus Christ, we can be truly happy in this life and return to live with our Father in heaven! Because God loves us since the beginning of time he has used guides, called prophets, to help people follow Jesus Christ. Prophets write scripture. We can find scripture in the bible. Prophets also testified that Jesus would come and eventually he came! Jesus came and conquered death and sin by suffering more than we can imagine. He is our Savior He taught us how we can follow him to find true happiness and return home

Yesterday it  was so  awesome to talk to you guys! Thank you! It was so great to see all of you! The call went by so fast! My goodness! Life is tough sometimes but wow it doesn't matter when I have a family that loves me! Mom and Dad your emails really helped! I love you guys! thank you I will take your words to heart. Dad thank you for your words about your mission. Those really helped me feel l am a good missionary! Mom thank you! I will find the joy! I'm going to make it an adventure! I'm so glad I still have you! Anyways! What a week! The area is just gorgeous! honestly wow! One of my favorite moments of the week was when we were struggling to find a members home and got lost next to an apple orchard that was surrounded by pine trees in view of Mt. Adams. I felt like I was on Beaver mountain but just a little better. Amazing. It's amazing to me how yes I am given challenges but also God's love is all around me. Just got to look for it! We got invit

Saying Good bye to the Aguilar Family in Bridgeport, Washington Hey Hey! How's it going everyone! answering questions for mom! Elder Garcia is staying in bridgeport Hood River is a tourist town that is surrounded by Orchard towns. Kite boarding is huge in this part of Oregon. It has  HUGE snow peaked mountains (Mt. Adams, Mt. Hood) which  bring many outdoorsmen and people from around the world. It is so green, so beautiful, and has so many more people. We traveled 6 hours south to get here. Elder Najarian and I were housmates yes. He served across the river in Brewster while I served in Bridgeport We still speak spanish. There are many orchards around. We serve in a large English ward but spend most of the day talking to hispanics. Many of them are catholic or jw and hard to work with. Also E. Najarian and I go running every morning! I love it! He is from downtown SLC.  He comes from a home without a father. He loves to work super hard! I'm so happy
