Hello! I made it through the first transfer!!! This week has been fantastic. I'm coming closer to Christ. I'm my first investigator and this one is progressing!  I've learned so much this week. Lately I've been struggling on  how to create a productive language study plan, but I received an answer that really opened things up for me!  Everything we do every moment of the day as missionaries is to help or prepare to help others. My study plan should be soley focused on helping others come unto Christ using whatever materials or methods possible to make that happen. Like my study plan every thing I do from exercising, eating, personal study, companionship study, 12-week training study, sleeping, p-day, taking a minute to relax, teaching, finding, and even using the restroom:) should be focused on preparing to help or helping people come unto Christ!  This concept of everything we do should be focused on helping others come unto Christ is something I plan to c

Dear Family and Friends, I've been doing so much better this week! I'm not getting as homesick and I'm having a great time!  I'm laughing more and just relaxing as I work but above all I love fulfiling my purpose-Invite others to come unto Christ by receiving the restored gospel. One of my favorite moments of the week was sitting down with 2 little boys and teaching them about Christ by telling about the Book of Mormon while my companion, Elder Sanchez, talked to their mother.  I pulled out my book of Mormon and told them this book is about Jesus-I had to teach really simply so they could understand obviously one boy was 3 and the other 6. I showed them the picture of Christ on the first page and began describing simply who Jesus Christ is. I simply shared that he is the son of God. He was sent by God, our Heavenly Father, to the Earth to die so we could live again. These little boys loved this idea. The 3 year old didn't quite understand:) but the 6 year

September 12, 2016 Hello Everyone!!! Honestly this week has been very interesting. It started out with P-day last week where I had my first experience really loosening up and having some fun we were playing a silly dodge ball like game and I just laughed and laughed felt so good. I really need to work on having fun... this is one of my goals this week! On Tuesday  I went on exchange with another new elder his name is Elder Veropalumbo. He was born in Uraguay and can express himself in both languages completely...what a blessing that is. It is a blessing of the sacrifice of his family has made to come to America. I learned a little about his family's story and it was inspiring. I know for certain that I have many blessings like this as well that come from my faithful ancestors as they believed that God spoke again and had a prophet in Kirtland.  Anyways that evening while we were out tracting, we ran into a Baptist Pastor. What a strange experience. He asked us many que

Hello Everyone! Thank you so much for all the emails! Everyone emailed me oh my goodness! Thank you so much! Mom, Dad, Stockton, Madsen, Emma, Maleck, and Grandpa! Wow I've learned so much this week! But I'll answer some questions first:) love you mom! Elder Sanchez He is from Mexico but he speaks English too. He's a really corky and always makes noises during study time...I hate annoying noises:) He was that nice kid in high school that had more friends that were girls than guys...I could've learned a few things from him;) just kidding  But seriously what a great Elder. I know I have him for a reason I am learning so much from him! He is teaching me that everything we do every second of the day needs to be focused on the people we have in our reach to help! We are different but I'm learning to be humble. Everyday we have a moment where I'm super glad he's my companion. I'm trying to get him to speak spanish so I'll learn it! HOW ARE YO
